The Cuban regime once again miscalculated the implications and political cost of their arbitrary actions. They erroneously assumed that the longer they isolated Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara in the the Calixto Garcia Hospital in Habana, the more the world would forget about him. However, the opposite has occurred.

Since May 2, 2021 when Luis Manuel Otero was forcefully taken by the State Security to the Calixto Garcia hospital in Habana, worldwide solidarity has grown exponentially.
