Democratic Spaces in a Human Rights Coalition - Hearings in Ottawa on Foreign Interference and Transnational Repression

Democratic Spaces joins 8 civil society and community organizations, taking part under the Human Rights Coalition to participate in the Public Hearings on Foreign Interference that began on January 29, 2024 in Ottawa. Canada with the participation of lawyers, activists, security experts. This is the beginning of a critical examination of transnational repression & the interference of various authoritarian regimes in Canada's electoral and democratic processes.
