Police Raid of the San Isidro Headquarters

It is estimated that in Cuba there are around 3-4 million cell phones with cameras. In the past years, these devices have become the dictatorships’s main enemy as they have captured on video the nature of the regime’s repressive actions and systematic human rights violations.

This video captures the violent police assault of the San Isidro Movement headquarters on November 26, 2020 and the failed deceiving police methods used in the process. It also shows how protesters were able to identify the political nature of the break in and arrest and stand up for their rights even in the face of imminent repression and violence.
