Remembering El Maleconazo

On August 5, 1994 young people from the most humble neighbourhoods in Centro Habana and Habana Vieja took to the streets of Habana to demand FREEDOM and raise their voices against injustice and police brutality in Cuba. The rebellion was known as El Maleconazo as the uprising took place along a section of the Malecon area.
